OUR SUPPORT FOR:
YOUNG PEOPLE
At Chronic Youth CIC, we are dedicated to supporting young people living with chronic illnesses by offering a wide range of services designed to enhance well-being and foster connection. From engaging activity workshops and supportive group chats to personalized care packages and educational resources, we're here to make sure no one feels alone on their health journey.
OUR RECENT PROJECTS:
CHRISTMAS CARDS AND PACKAGES
CHRONIC YOUTH CIC X CARDS FOR BRAVERY
Christmas can be a difficult time for young people living with chronic and long-term health issues and that is why, this Christmas, we partnered with a brilliant charity called Cards for Bravery to send out cards and gift packages. We partnered with a local school, Langley Park School for Girls, where students helped to make and design cards. During this workshop, they not only helped brighten these young people's Christmas', but it also allowed them to hear more about what we do and the difficulties that these young people face on a day to day basis. In total, 30 gift packages were sent out along with 120 cards.

OUR CURRENT PROJECTS:
THINGS I WISH I KNEW ABOUT...
In this project, we have been working with young people with chronic and long-term conditions to create free, downloadable PDFS covering various topics such as friendships, life after diagnosis, things they wish family/friends understood,University/Higher Education and more. These will be coming out over the next couple of week and will be availble on our website. Each document will be filled with insight from those with lived experience, who have been there and understand the complexities of being a young person whilst dealing with these additional challenges. The aim of this project is to help support those who are newly diagnosed, along with their families and friends, feel less overwhelmed and a little more prepared.

YOUTH VOICES SERIES
Our new project, Youth Voices, is a storytelling project that shares honest conversations with young people living with a range of chronic illnesses and disabilities. Each episode highlights real experiences — the highs, lows, and everything in between — to break stigma, build connection, and show that no one is alone in their journey. These conversations are in the works with the first one being released over the next couple of weeks.
